The Wabi jar of 101 Copenhagen's Scandinavian house is inspired by the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, the aesthetics that discover beauty in imperfection. Every jar of the Wabi collection embraces this philosophy, with the organic, asymmetric forms that give them unique character and charm.

The WABI jar is shaped with complete care through the technique of glass blinking with the mouth. The glass is heated to 1500 degrees Celsius before placed in a special mold. Next, air is blowing into the glass to dilate and acquire the characteristic shape of Wabi. After configuration, the jar is removed from the mold and placed in a oven for hardening, while the opening at the top is cut evenly and polished. Finally, the jar is sprayed to get the characteristic shade of smoked forest.

 The Smoked Forest color enhances the natural, earthy sense of jars, creating a warm and calm presence in every space. The irregular curves and the soft lines of Wabi jars reflect the imperfections we find in nature, encouraging us to discover beauty in everyday life and in the incomplete.
