The Kuri stoneware collection by Scandinavian house MUUBS is made with traditional Japanese art Kurinuki, where designs are created through spontaneity. That's why these objects are alive.
Kurinuki technique starts with a rough piece of clay. Hands and simple carving tools are used to create the basic shape. Finally, the object is finished and polished.
Kuri glass is created using natural organic shapes with raw edges, derived from traditional craftsmanship.
The Kuri serving glass inside is smooth and shiny and gives the design an elegant contrast to its rough exterior design.

The Kuri glass is handmade and each piece has a unique character.
