Dining Chair Hiro Matt Black Steel Frame / Linen Beige Fabric Sand (8047-2) L42 x W55 x H76 cm 101 COPENHAGEN
The Hiro dining chair, by Scandinavian house 101 COPENHAGEN, takes its name from the Japanese word 'Hiro', meaning 'generous', and embodies a sense of understated elegance and welcoming comfort. Its sculptural, three-legged design is inspired by minimalist art, turning the chair into a striking object in the space. The cylindrical back also acts as a discreet handle, encouraging easy movement and adaptability to everyday life.
Available in three distinct versions, Hiro strikes a balance between materiality and form: a matte black painted steel frame combined with a linen texture offers an earthy, tactile feel; a polished stainless steel frame with natural-toned Italian Nubuck leather exudes softness and sophistication; while the black Aniline leather option lends a bold yet airy elegance. Each version highlights the clean outline and harmonious proportions of the chair – where clarity of design meets the warmth of hand-crafted construction in a generous, unified expression.
