A work of art in itself, the Dusk and Dawn lamp by Scandinavian house 101 Copenhagen, is a unique source of light that lets the mind wander through planets, eclipses and Brutalist architectural details. The multi-layered shades playfully separate the light, contributing to a familiar and cozy atmosphere. The square, raw oxidized aluminium base meets the two rounded aluminium surfaces upwards. The rich texture, almost like concrete, gives a depth to the soft light.
