Recalling the silhouette of a sitting man, The Sitting Man lamp by Scandinavian company 101 Copenhagen is a light sculpture with a illuminated glass sphere placed in the middle of a spiral composition. The complex structure is a perfect balance between structure and weight, aesthetics and function, trying to challenge our perception of form and light. When turned off, the ceramic material is in the same shade. But when the structure lights up, it reflects light in different directions.

The Sitting Man is available in two sizes, a floor lamp and a table lamp.
