The Iwa serving tray, by Scandinavian company 101 COPENHAGEN, is named after the Japanese word for "stone" and is a sculptural object that explores the concept of contrast through materiality and form. Made of ceramic and finished in a pure Birch shade, it features an elegant white mineral look — calm, soft and tactile.

The Iwa serving tray features a perfectly circular top surface with subtle depth and a clean, sharp edge that clearly defines its perimeter. This minimalistic and serene upper form is deliberately contrasted with the raw, organic texture of the underside, reminiscent of a rugged mountainside or cracked rock. The interplay between the smooth, refined surface and the rough, "rocky" base gives the disc a unique sculptural quality — transforming it from a functional object to an element of silent expression.
