Paper folding is an ancient art form in Japan known as Origami, and the series of vessels that share its name are deeply inspired by the scholarly and biological tradition. Mimicking two pieces of paper folded towards each other, the vases are a refined and playful art. Soft meets sharp. Just like paper origami, it takes patience to truly master the method, so it took several attempts to achieve the vessel's round shape and delicate opening.

As it is a natural, hand-polished product, colors may vary slightly. It is not 100% waterproof; a bag for fresh flowers is included.
