Spring 2018 is finally here and Easter is definitely its top celebration.
Now is the time to look for ideas for the Easter table decoration and make sure that everything will be perfect on the day.
The way in which we think about and actually do the table decoration reveals a lot about how we are as hosts too.
In my opinion, a neat table, with attention to detail and a touch of imagination, is equally important to well-cooked food in order for the meal to succeed.
If you don’t celebrate Easter Day with particular formality, then you may keep these ideas in mind for any other formal event in the spring or summer season.
Scroll down for some really inspirational hints:
Go for the it-colour of 2018: Ultra Violet
If you’re aiming for an ultra-modern choice, dare to decorate your table with the gorgeous violet colour, because, according to Pantone, Ultra Violet is the ultimate colour of the year.
Choose it for the Easter table, adding a few touches of gold or accentuating it with red flowers, to create the must combination of the year.

If you want something out-of-the-ordinary, lay a beige, linen tablecloth and pair it with succulent plants in shades of purple, such as Echeveria, or be even more original, using mauve artichokes combined with lavenders or lilacs which will be blooming in a few days.
In this way, you can enjoy ravishing purple decorations in more earthly tones

Simple and beautiful pastels
Sometimes, simple colours are also most beautiful.
If you love quiet and soft colours, select almond tree blossoms or any other seasonal flowers in soft hues and arrange them in tall white glass or vintage vases.
Some candles in pastel colours are all you need to bring spring fragrances to your table.

Gold for a feel of luxury and festivity
No other colour of the palette spells luxury like gold does.
If you wish to add a light air of luxury to your Easter table, then choose some golden elements to decorate it with.
These may include the place mats, the cutlery or small vases and candlesticks.
Have bouquets of paeonies, which go into blossom in April, take centre stage on the table.
Don’t hesitate to dye some Easter eggs in this unique colour.
Their radiance is bound to impress!

Green leaf inspiration
Last but not least, a major deco trend this year is no other than large green leaves.
So, why not attempt to introduce it into your table decoration?
By placing not only a few blossoms in the middle of the table, but mainly greenery consisting of large leaves from a variety of plants and by laying large leaves on the plates themselves, you can decorate an all-green Easter table.
For a more successful outcome yet, opt for leaves coming from banana trees, monstera deliciosa, fern and ivy plants, or leaves from bird of paradise (strelitzia) and palm trees.
