Pantone Color of the Year 2024 and how to use it in your interior design

At the beginning of December, the Color Institute Pantone announced the color of the year 2024!

Pantone's announcement is something we always look forward as interior designers, as it can affect the trends of next year in various ways. Last year Pantone chose Viva Magenta, a pretty intense, optimistic and vibrant red/pink color. This greatly affected the decoration of 2023 and of course we saw many maximalist styles this year, such as Dopamine decor.

This year Pantone chose a much softer, warm, flexible and relaxing color, expressing the tendency to take care of ourselves and others. 

Specifically, Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, stated, "In search of a shade that echoes our innate desire for human connection, we have chosen a color that radiates with warmth and modern elegance. A color that effortlessly bridges the youthful with timeless."

So the Pantone Color of the Year 2024 is Peach Fuzz! The Pantone 13-1023 Peach Fuzz is a velvety, soft peach shade whose goal is to relax and enrich the mind, body and soul.
