Create Your Christmas Story!
As we gear up for the holiday season, it's time to turn our attention to the trends that will define Christmas decorating this year!
In 2025, Christmas decoration focuses on playful nostalgia, warm atmosphere and natural motifs. But there are also some surprises...
Christmas is getting more explosive, brighter and more nostalgic, and here's a first look at the trends shaping this holiday season.

We decorate the table: Hintsdeco x Petridis
One of the strongest trends in Christmas decorating this year is a return to natural luxury. Rich textures, bold winter tones and organic elements create a festive backdrop that brings out the allure of nature indoors.
The following creative photoshooting, was also based on this philosophy. Hintsdeco in collaboration with Petridis florists, where compositions with velvety snow-covered branches, rich greenery and sculptural ceramic forms take center stage.
The thematic suggestions we designed together — from dramatic, deep hues for the festive table, to more airy, icy compositions for the reception area — are ideal inspiration for those who want a decoration that combines elegance and naturalness.
The details make the difference: Sophisticated dinnerware, fabric bows, statement ceramics, and foliage that seem to continue the decor beyond the vases, create a harmonious Christmas experience, warm and at the same time modern. Colors such as Velvet burgundy, Luxurious deep purple, brown and snowy white combined with the shine of chrome and transparent crystal are the protagonists of this year's Christmas decorations.

Nostalgia is in
Christmas decorations for 2025 are expected to be a happy mix of tradition and playful details. This year's trends emphasize interesting patterns and timeless materials.
This trend has been showing since last year, but this year it has become really intense. Think rich greens and reds, striped details, embellishments in classic patterns, shiny metallic accents, warm colors and timeless details. Candles, oversized bows and embroidered details complete the look, creating a Christmas decoration that looks nostalgic but at the same time fresh and modern.

Candy decor
Candy ornaments are one of the biggest highlights of Christmas decorations for 2025. From classic candy canes to candy-like balls and gingerbread-inspired decorations, these pieces bring a playful, childlike feel to the holiday season.
But we'll see more food-themed Christmas decorations this year that celebrate nostalgia, humor and personal style. From baguettes and croissants to grapes and strawberries, these ornaments capture our love of food during the holiday season.

Bridging the gap, with an autumn-inspired Christmas
The autumn aesthetic leaves its mark on the Christmas decoration. This hot crossover trend has started to gain ground in recent years and is a response to the growing enthusiasm for Christmas decorations earlier and earlier in the season.
The warm and bright look of this trend creates a bridge between autumn and Christmas. It offers an elegant way to decorate early, discreetly yet impressively.

The magic of nature with forest motifs
Nature-inspired Christmas decorations for 2025 include pine cones, mushrooms, woodland animals and even tree silhouettes. This trend can be combined with nostalgic Christmas in a warmer, natural atmosphere, with less kitschy elements.
We expect to see tree figurines in organic colors and patterns, pomegranates and pine cones on platters and vases of mistletoe adorning this year's holiday tables.

We embrace monochrome and two-tone
In an almost complete contrast to what we have said so far about the traditional red and gold colors, nostalgia and natural style, the monochrome trend of Christmas, mainly in black and white, offers an elegant version of holiday decorations.
We see the monochrome or two-color style with black and white, checkered balls, striped ribbons, clean white dinnerware, etc. to be the choice of those who do not prefer the traditional Christmas and turn to a more minimal, but always impressive choice.

Metallic details
This and the previous trend are perfectly combined with each other!
Metallic elements shine in Christmas decorations for 2025. Brass, copper, gold, silver and even chrome candlesticks and ornaments reflect light and add festive sparkle to both classic and contemporary spaces.
